Wendell Berry, an essayist, novelist, and poet, has been honored with the T. S. Eliot Award, the Aiken Taylor Award for poetry, and the John Hay Award of the Orion Society. He lives with his wife on a farm in Henry County, Kentucky.

Here are all of Wendell Berry's amazing Mad Farmer poems, in one place. Read the product description to hear the "about" but if you like Berry, his poetry, or have issues with many of the problems of contemporary society and culture, you'll dig it.
Yes, it's a big book (size wise, not length,) presented in almost a children's book format, but the simplicity of it is part of the beauty. You can't go wrong with this if you like Berry. If you don't know him or his poetry, well you should probably check out his broader work first- I will say this is more for people who are already fans.

A gorgeous gift for anyone who loves Wendell Berry's work

These poems capture Berry's work since the first mad farmer poem in 1967. The first poem, amendments and other variations are beautifully rendered. Anyone who loves beautiful books, good poetry, food, farming, and a celebration of the citizen farmer will treasure this edition.

A justified madman

Always a Wendell Berry fan, these poems caught the fervor of his statement as a farmer. Living in the country and having farmed I understand his passion and we too grieve the old ways and complain of changes in the farming community.We shake our heads at changes around in general us but his words express it so well.
